So I’m rewatching Hannibal, (Thank you NETFLIX gods), and I am in love with the fact that he plays harpsichord. I feel like it’s so subtly violent (the strings are plucked rather than hammered with soft felt pads like pianos). It was a moment of clarity and I had to share 😅

I never thought of it that way! I don’t know much about the harpsichord but it’s really a great observation. Hannibal likes playing and plucking the strings of everyone around him to see what comes out of that so it’s really a great observation!  

I need to do another rewatch soon. It’s been way too long. *sigh*

Can I ask what got you into making your own dice? They look lovely!

Thank you! I’m still VERY much a beginner but I hope to eventually sell my dice, so this is really encouraging!

I love dice a LOT, and always spend like half an hour drooling over them in game stores when I visit, follow a bunch of dice blogs, etc. Then one day I randomly saw one of Rybonator’s dice tutorial videos and a switch flipped in my head- I can MAKE them?!? I was immediately in deep.

In the fall me and a friend made three practice molds together and then I kinda dropped it for a while. Basically where I wanted to be was SO FAR AWAY from what I thought I could do, that I didn’t even try. 

Then a month or so ago I said fuck it, if all I can make are crummy dice I’m gonna start because crummy dice are better than NO dice. And then once I actually got going they started...not looking too crummy at all.
