Remembering — Malcolm X! THE ANGRIEST MAN IN AMERICA 📌 "BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY "📌 "FREEDOM AT ALL COSTS" 📌 Those were Malcolm X's words 📍 The assassination of Malcolm X was, and still remains, an unfortunate tragedy It is quite unfortunate that Malcolm X died at 39, close to the age of 40! Actually, his epiphany of "the white man" came after he went for Hajj at 39. After his pilgrimage, he was blessed with a new insight, he saw what he had never seen in thirty nine years in America and he admitted it. He saw all races, all colours, blue-eyed blonds to black-skinned Africans in true brotherhood. In unity! Living as one! Worshipping as one! No liberals! No segregationists! And his perception of the white man changed. His attitude changed by what he experienced at Mecca. He had reluctant admiration for Dr. King. He was the sword and MLK Jr. the shield. Sadly, he didn't live long enough to share his new understanding and ideology to many who had heard him use the phrase BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY or FREEDOM AT ALL COSTS and who called him "the angriest black man in America." He had really believed the white man was a devil. No one who knew him before and after his trip to Mecca could doubt that he had completely abandoned racism, separatism, and hatred. He admitted his trip to Mecca had changed quite a number of things about him and he would make some statements that would shock everybody. He had had time to rethink a number of things. But he didn't get enough of the chances he had hoped to get to probably right the wrongs. Like he hoped, I hope too, that one day, "we shall all meet together in the light of understanding." #memoir #juveh #malcomx #sammyjuveh #thedeadarearising https://www.instagram.com/p/Co7tZOLI3xD/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
