She’d been alone in the apartment, at least that’s what Veronica had thought. It was the sound of footsteps that broke her from her trance, the blonde looking up and glaring at the man who had interrupted her. “Ever heard of knocking?”

April flicked her foot, sending a couple of droplets toward Gabe while she grinned at him. “You never exactly said that it was your bath.” She sunk deeper into the warm water and sighed contently. “And you left the door open..as far as I know, that means visitors welcomed.”

Kat rolled her eyes, banging her hand on the steering wheel as the smoke rolled out from underneath the hood. Getting out of the car, she grabbed her bag and flung it over her shoulder. All she had wanted to do was get the hell out of dodge and get away from the one thing holding her back, but it seemed like something always kept coming up.
With a huff, Kat headed down the road putting as much needed distance as she could from her past and her present. As soon as she heard a car behind her, she turned around and held out her arm. Hoping they would stop and hoping they weren’t an axe murder.
"Right. Well, not that I have tried. So. I can make my way out, I guess."
She sighed “Maybe just coffee.”
"No, your security is fine. Don't fire them just because a bartender who knows fasttalk to save his ass knows how to skate around them. And you don't have time? Well, now's like a good time already."
“I’m CEO of a big company.” Felicity replied, not to mention her other job “So, nope, don’t get much time to myself.”
"No, no no, you don't have to fire them; that's very aggressive of you. Just don't. Just... Iunno. Think of it as a time for you to let loose and let down your hair?"
“Our security obviously sucks.” Felicity told him with a frown. “I’m a very busy person.”
