Clara sat on the sofa in her living room, holding a cup of tea in her hands. Nervously, she glanced up at the Doctor, trying to think of how to word these next words, "Doctor, I… I need to tell you something."

She waited for a few moments, before continuing in the same hushed tone, "Yesterday I was called into the hospital. They said that they'd found something in my annual checkup. A lump."

The Frost Fair || Ten and Clara

It was the first Wednesday of December, and Clara had to admit that she was feeling very Christmassy. She'd put up all of her Christmas decorations the previous Sunday, and although she didn't yet have many of her own, her flat was already looking much more jolly than it had been before.

She was soon drawn from her observations, however, by the familiar groaning and wheezing sound of the TARDIS. She whirled around to face where it had come from, and saw the blue box materialising in the corner of the room,

With a broad smile, Clara walked up to the door and pushed it open, "So," She began once she was inside, making sure to close the door behind her, "Where is it to today?"
