Flatline - Cultist (UK Metalcore)
Enjoying the beautiful voice of @sophieblak of The Foreign Exchange at #thedownbeat (at The Vault at The Palace International)
So we still don't know what Happy did over the summer. A. This Chet guy has to be involved. B. Something to do with her knowing Japanese? C. Is she working at the club she went to the other night? Obviously don't expect you to know the answer, just pondering. I really love the tone of this season though; its lighter.
We don’t have any answers, but it seems like her secret has something to do with Chet and who he actually is (not her boyfriend like Toby and the team are so quick to assume).
Hey!! So what do you think Happy is hiding from the team? I'm soooo curious
The only thing I can come up with is that she’s lying about what she actually did all summer.
My thoughts today were that

You would make pretty babies that wore weird shirts.
That some poeple are not meant to know that they are loved.
This is my future, my past, my life.

I don't have enough energy right now or ever really to string words together and make them sound beautiful in order to feel better once they are done pounding in my chest, beating my heart and cramping my stomach.
I'm not going to have energy at all this year to improve myself- which will only hurt me more.
The best way my friends could help me this year- is to stop me.
It's so fucking weird, you know? Knowing that you can't handle the things you are taking on, knowing that you need to stop or else you will drop.
But you can't stop. You just keep giving and taking and giving more.
And for what?
Attention.
Love.
Respect.
None of which comes with working your ass off- you just lose friends, hurt family, and all of a sudden your little sister has had a boyfriend and grew five inches since the last time you were even fucking able to say hi to her, you ungrateful bitch.
And the self-hatred sets in.
Starving yourself.
You lose weight faster then a wrestler.
You're on the edge of everything always.
You forget how to smile.
And then when everything you have worked for, nearly killed yourself over, is accomplished, you don't even have it in you to feel proud.
You wonder if what you have learned about yourself over the course of the year was worth it- all the pain, the constant state of turmoil.
But you didn't learn anything about yourself, right?
Because you had no energy.
And none of your friends stopped you.
Because you pushed them away.
You ungrateful bitch.
