Gonna throw a weird one at you. Assuming Izuku is the Ancestor and only female or genderflipped to female characters apply, how would you fill out the Classes of Darkest Dungeon using MHA ladies?
Holy shit, okay. This stopped me from writing commissions as this is such an interesting ask... Alright, let me get this done.
Abomination gotta be Genderbent!Tsuyokomi. Instead of the Abom of the normal game, it'd be a sweet girl, plagued by the dark thoughts that fill in her mind, slowly driven insane and more violent, while trying to hold back her own madness.
Antiquarian... that gotta be someone with greed. And the want for more, and a bit of a cowardly streak... So being honest, it shockingly can be female!Mineta. For me Minnie while more sinful than the Antiquarian fits in the description of a coward seeking a more... personal objective among the darkness.
Arbalest is the most obvious one, that gotta be Nagant. The thing of the missing soldier, of the one who ran away, and also the dark path that comes from being the one in the dark. And the sniper qualities. One might think that Nagant fits more to another class, but we'll get there later.
Bounty Hunter... holy shit, okay this is hard. This actually feels like it'd be a right fit for a genderbent!Knuckleduster. A girl who is violent but highly pragmatic, focused on the mission and just that. Not so much as a greedy one as the Bounty Hunter is, but the importance of the mission alongside the brutality of it all fits in her personality.
Crusader... Well, being honest that also fits in as Izuku, but I'd say that... Actually, just realised, Crusader is a perfect Nana. Someone strong, paramount, but with regrets regarding her family, but in the end, always someone who stands tall and can be the one to hold the line and inspire others. Yeah, Nana is perfect here!
For the Duelist, while not as good of a fit as I'd want, I'd say probably a genderbent!Rappa, the one from the Overhaul Mafia, who is obsessed with fighting. Her desire for the perfect duel, and her more... lacking morality fits well with a villain here, even if their ways of combat are very different.
Might be a bit weird, but The Flagellant has to be Toga. Beyond their obsession with blood, the thing that defines flagelant is clearly... the obsession he has. Not for something in specific, but the clear act of wanting that. Being obsessed with his pain in canon and blood in Toga's case. However, unlike canon, Toga would have shockingly even less healthy manners of dealing with it XD
Grave Robber is a former lady of riches, with a big thrill-seeking side. Mhm... The richness side, the thing about money and thrills and status... I dunno why ,but Uwabami is one that comes up. It's not perfect, and I'm open to interpretations.
Hellion is Mirko; that one is fucking easy. Literally the two biggest fighters, the ones that go all out in their combat, the ones that brave death with a smile and nothing else. I also adore them both, so this feels fitting.
Highwayman gotta be female!Shoto. The darkness and the conflict, the want to grow and the want to also change from who he is, but also the feeling that it might be a bit late, those can be fun aspects to add. Given how his gameplay is also both dual melee and ranged, he fits in the dual nature of Shoto, too. I dunno for me fits.
The Houndmaster... Well, for me, this one I had no fucking clue, but you mentioned Tsuyu and actually fits? Both are highly moral ones with a big focus on their animal (either animal side or literal animal) and are some of the best person around, being level-headed and pragmatic, without being dark. Yeah I like it a ton!
Jester is Jirou. No hesitation there, while their personalities aren't 1:1, their skillsets are. Both the sudden stabby attacks (her earjacks and his knives) and the usage of song to inspire and boost others. This was one of the easiest ones to figure out.
Leper's Genderbent!Kirishima. It's fucking easy for me to say so. Literally a big gal, holding up the front lines, the manliest of them all. I fucking adore them both, so I'm happy to put Kiri as the Leper.
Momo's the Man at Arms. The big thing with them both is that they were in positions of leadership way before they were ready for it, and now act as the leaders they want to trully become. Momo, for me, should've been the true leader of class 1-A in the story, and she should grow to become someone trully respected, and I like that a ton.
Musketeer for me feels more like Beros, from the movie. A darker, more shameless and evil reflection from a sniper. Given how little we see of her, I don't think I need to get too deep into it.
Occultist, I'd say that... shockingly enough, female!Hawks. No idea why, their personalities are very different, but something about the sacrifice about becoming the very dark thing you're trying to fight against to help the world, for me feels like a good narrative throught.
Plague Doctor is such an easy one, that has to be Mei. Just straight up has to be her. It's such a perfect fit, might be the best fit of the entire cast.
Runaway is Ochako. The fire thing might be a bit off, but the issues of poverty, and trying to belong in a world you don't think quite fits you, and also regrets linked to family feel very fitting.
Shieldbreaker has to be Mina. While not as serious as the Shieldbreaker is, the things with poison/acid and the dancing, not to mention things about fears of the past link them both in a fun manner in my books.
And finally vestal is Ibara. I don't think I need to talk much, but more of the canon Ibara, that hides her lust with the faith she has, just like Vestal
