Shipping is cool. I like it, and there are some cute things that can come from it. But, I don’t like it when people use it to convey their fetishes and other creepy interests.

Take all the ships Shadow is in with someone. Most of the time he is domineering and intimidating, while the other person in the ship is intimidated. What kind of a relationship is that? If you ship things like this I’m side eyeing the hell out of you.

That said, as long as you’re not pushing anything gross by using a ship, shipping is harmless.

Though I’m not a heavy shipper even when I have my own set of ships because romance isn’t a big interest I have. I like building close bonds in ships though, with logical reasons behind them. I wanna express real love through ships that have potential for that :>

“For dream come true, I’d say it’d be a return to the music scene.” Issimo mused. “I’m good at playing soldier, sure, but I was built for making music.” He frowned. “It’d be nice to get back to that, you know? A time when my biggest concern is approaching deadlines and how well the notes flow together…”

“But also, right now, I’d say my most important goal is just getting out of this quarantine.” Issimo pointedly, frustratedly, raised his voice to be heard by the chaperone he knew was still watching, from outside the room. Two other voices seemed to harmonize with his - both sounding equally frustrated with the situation - but they both faded out as Issimo sat back in his chair with an irritable huff.

“As for my worst nightmare….” The Reploid pushed air through his teeth to make a hissing sound and waved his hand in the air. “I kind of already lived through that and not that long ago, even so….nothing?” He laughed, but the sound held no humor in it. “Really, what can be worse than having someone you’ve sacrificed life and loyalty to for decades betray you and try to murder you?”

The cat took a seat next to the robot, one leg folded over the other, feet dangling over the edge. She didn’t mean to pry, but, she couldn’t help her concern. “Y’know, it’s cool if you wanna tell me anything. It’s just, like, so late out... I didn’t think you’d be up here, at this time. It’s so cold, too...” Maybe Electra didn’t feel the chill like she did, but the cold air nipped at her skin, fur fluffing up a little.

Was she even supposed to be here right now? Or did the hunters who dropped her off here forget that they even escorted her in the first place? To be honest, she didn’t care why she was still here. Her only problem was leaving.

Lily wasn’t a serious threat to the navigators in the room, but she was unable to wander on her own or return to her father’s room from anywhere without an accompanying hunter. The reason for that was that she hadn’t gotten an ID with her clearance level yet. If she had one, she would have been free to walk around in the areas she was cleared to visit.

But no, something had to happen and the whole thing got delayed. She wasn’t sure on the details, but as far as she was concerned, she was trapped in here unless a Hunter escorted her to Zero’s apartment.

She left the navigators alone, preferring to enter hibernation until someone, hopefully, Zero or X came to pick her up.

The world around her seemed to fade away as she pulled up the Instant Message log that she and Axl had been using to talk to each other. The information displayed across her eyes as she replied to his latest message.

TXT:batgrl: How much longer do I have to wait for this stupid ID thing to go through? I think everyone would like to stop having to babysit me kthx.

If there was anyone trying to initiate contact with her, she was currently unaware.

( and you wonder why I chose sa2 knuckles to roleplay as.

I’m putting part of the blame on SEGA since they’re known to rush projects and their employees. that’s how 06 became a flaming mess. since they’re rushed, it’s easier to just make the characters one note instead of diving deep into their characters. really annoying. )
