I follow you cause your Jason is so great and you're so nice like you're such a nice human being? And your Jason is so, like, real. Everything you write about him makes him so easy to imagine and I can't even count how many times I laugh or get a feel okay you two are such a joy. Also the interactions between our muses are so great and truly make me so happy.

     Jason’s noncommittal response was punctuated with a shrug of one shoulder, eyeing the officer. He might’ve gotten here in time to see the cop looking real rough, but not in time to catch those responsible. He clicked his tongue, a disapproving sound escaping before he continued, aiming for carefully neutral — Jason only had his domino on tonight, no helmet. Dangerous waters. “You look like crap. Crap with broken ribs, at the least.”

     “Don’t wanna overstay my welcome...”

     It’s a murmur to himself as the Red Hood looks up from the last guy he’s taken care of on the dark, blood-specked floor of the dirty building he’s in. Bludhaven is special in the ways that Gotham’s Crime Alley is special; Jason finds something comparable to familiarity in Bludhaven’s dank shadows. The Red Hood holsters his gun and starts to go through the papers scattered across the man’s makeshift desk, peering down a particular, neat list that he finds. 

     Schedules, transport... exactly what he’d come for. Handy.

     (It sure would be a pain and a half if someone decided to crash his raid party...)

I got three drafts that I’m not really feeling anymore, so I think I’m gonna drop them. If you guys wanna plot something new, my ask box is always open.

A light blush came to Dick’s cheeks as he stared over the edge, then flicked his eyes up to his boyfriend. “What’s the occasion?”

“Nothin’ special,” the Hood said, though he didn’t set his hostage down, “Except, you know, a year ago tonight I totally crashed this cute scrawny guy’s store, saved his life, and then got him fired.”

He tried to scowl, but it came out more like a pout. “Meanie. I’m not gonna get you sick.” His eyes fell shut as Jason kissed him, making a tiny noise before slowly turning around with a sniffle. “I’ve been in bed all day though….”

“And you’ll stay there until you don’t look like you might keel over and die at any minute.”  Jason chuckled, “Go on, pretty boy.  I’ll be there in a moment.”

They weren’t the best at keeping fresh food in the apartment.  Neither one of them cooked much, so take out and to-go boxes were more common.  Still, it was always useful to keep a few cans of soup around.  Jason just wished he could make it taste as good as Alfred’s.

“One chicken noodle soup coming up,” he said as he returned to the bedroom, bearing a steaming mug and a spoon.  “Basically as good as cured once you eat this stuff, you know,” he teased, placing the mug at Dick’s bedside, “Chicken soup is the automatic cure for the flu.”

Dick sniffled in the doorway, a blanket wrapped around his shoulders while his lips remained parted, unable to breathe through his nose. On top of that his cheeks were flushed and his eyes were droopy from fatigue, voice raspy because his throat was sore. "I'm hungry."

Jason looked up from the couch and snorted, “Dear lord, you look like death warmed over.  You’d better not get me sick,” he waved his beer at Dick and then stood, crossing over and taking the other man by the shoulders, kissing his forehead.  “Go back to bed, babe.  I’ll bring you something to eat.”
