Brother Foxie! What is Saturnalia? It sounds very interesting

Short answer? Ancient Roman Christmas, basically.

Long answer? A week long (17-24 December) celebrations during which you gamble, drink, feast with friends and most importantly exchange gifts! That's where most Christan traditions came from, such as wreaths, feasting, lighting candles, singing, decorating trees or Santa (Free Man's) hats, though the Saturnalia ones don't have the fluff. And of course the Mistletoe, but that's also a Celtic thing too.

...if I'm being honest the only original, truly Christian thing about Christmas is attending the Mass and the nativity scene. Everything else is pretty much pagan traditions Christans like to pretend is theirs.

Oooh, good question!

Here are the classic Doctors (will have to do a reblog with the modern Doctors due to Tumblr's weird limit on ten photos in a post)

First Doctor-

One is a pretty wirey but ultimately kind-hearted individual once you get to know them.

Second Doctor-

Two is seemingly a jokester but is far more aware of what they're doing than they let on.

Third Doctor-

Okay, this one mainly made me think of Three because of the curly white hair. This dog looks like a dandy scientist.

Fourth Doctor-

Again, going by vibes. Four is so HUGE compared to the other Doctors (both physically and by presence) that a bear hound just made sense.

Fifth Doctor-

Five is the Doctor at their most earnest and dorky (not to mention parenting everyone around them). What better fit than a golden retriever?

Sixth Doctor-

Looks a little nuts but d*mn if they don't give a good performance.

Seventh Doctor-

Okay, this one is off vibes again. They look like they're plotting something; just imagine Seven putting their umbrella under their chin and making this exact face.

Eighth Doctor-

Very floofy and looks very well-groomed. Again, based on vibes.

Here is a fun challenge: What type of pizza do you think that your fav incarnations of the doctor and your fav companions would order if they were to get a pizza in for the night? 👀

Third Doctor era: Three strikes me as someone who likes spicy food on occasion, so he'd choose one of those chilli pizzas with lots of hot sauce as well. Liz is, mercifully, a lot more sensible and (with Benton) chooses a couple of margheritas (she knows Three will probably only eat half of his anyway before asking if he can finish hers up).

Fifth Doctor era: Five gets a whole bunch of different pizzas for his kids friends to enjoy, especially since Adric and Nyssa aren't familiar with earth food and don't really know what pizza is. Five has a margherita but insists on putting lots of vegetables on top (everyone else is disgusted by this but he insists it will be good for his teeth). Adric chooses pepperoni and is rather pleased with it. Tegan gets a super-spicy chilli pizza because she a) wants to annoy the Doctor and b) wants to impress Nyssa; this backfires because she miscalculated how spicy it would be and ends up having half of Nyssa's four-cheese pizza instead (Nyssa thought it was rather adorable, and they end up accidentally recreating that Lady-and-the-Tramp scene with a very long strand of cheese). Sorry I got sidetracked by Tegan/Nyssa again.

Seventh Doctor era: Seven orders a meat pizza because he likes trying something new each time. Ace gets a mild chilli pizza to share with the girl she's flirting with this week.

Ninth Doctor era: Nine shares a margherita with Rose whilst they natter about weird stuff that's happened to them in the past few weeks. Rose would normally have something a bit more exciting, but she knows that Nine could do with some quiet time to recharge (which he appreciates a great deal).

Tenth Doctor era: Donna insists on getting a super-spicy pizza; Ten tries a little bit, burns his mouth off and has to shovel yoghurt into his mouth for the next twenty minutes. After they've both stopped laughing, they order some garlic bread with dip.

Thirteenth Doctor era: The fam orders a bunch of different pizzas. Graham gets a margherita while Ryan gets a meat-lovers. Yaz initially planned on getting a chilli pizza but Thirteen got so excited during the ordering that they're now sharing a half-margherita half-chilli pizza. The lady-and-the-tramp thing happens, and now Thirteen understands why Tegan and Nyssa got so flustered about it. Ryan has taken photos, which he will use to cheerfully tease Yaz with for the next few weeks.

I should have mentioned it earlier but yes I do love the Nyssa/Tegan ship! {all thanks to you, all your posts and fics about them} it’s such a cute ship. I also do love my gay ships ☺️🤣
