Lapis lazuli: Where 'home' is to my muse

       Home is somewhere warm and quiet, soft in it’s edges with a good view of the stars. Where that is does not really matter to Finrod, in his life he has had many homes. It is just the safe feelings he searches for.

Malachite: What my muse as a child thought they would be when they grew up

       As a child Finrod very firmly believed he was going to be a sailor, or an architect.

Lodestone: What kind of people gravitate towards my muse

       I suppose it would be the people who want a strong leader, or a pretty king. Those Finrod keeps close are those who he thinks have earned that.

I’m so glad you’re back and we got to pick up that thread.  I almost forgot how much I enjoyed that thread until I was working on it today.  We’ll have to get more going on the other blogs too.

if you mean to ask wether I regret having spilled the blood of the harbour’s guards: yes, I do, as I regret the enmity born that day.

Still I know that trying to reach Beleriand without the ships, without the possibility to carry horses and  livestock would have meant a much swifter death for the Noldor.

♦ - Emotional headcanon

Moryo had a small collection of rocks. Not fine or rare mineral specimens, not gems polished and shaped or left raw -- but rocks. Plain and simple. The first one in the collection was a rounded chunk of chert about the size of his palm. He picked it up at the top of the first rock-face he ever scaled, not entirely sure why--but it just appealed to him. He has since taken a single rock from every climb he's ever completed, but that first chert stone goes with him everywhere, and he uses it almost unconsciously as a sort of "worry stone," smoothing his fingers along its surfaces when he is frustrated or on edge. It always helps to soothe him.

The more time Fingon spends alone, the more irritable he'll be. He depends a lot on other people to keep his spirits up, and being alone only makes him focus on his troubles.
