It’s been a night since the last attempt someone had made to taking a nibble at his neck. The mighty Urd Geales was on his toes, having hidden away into his office to try and focus on his paperwork for now as on the side he was trying to figure out just what in the world had caused that reaction in the female vampire over at the park. The 2nd progenitor prayed it was simply an isolated incident; there was no reason for this to have happened.A knock immediately caught his attention. Lifting his head up swiftly, the crimson glare narrowed upon the elaborate double doors. A good whiff of the air and–“Kʏ Lᴜᴄ.” Urd acknowledged as he leaned back a bit in his cozy chair before standing up. The older progenitor had questions for Ky. Perhaps the fifth had some answers? Perhaps even to the predicament that had arose?Something made him hesitant just as he rounded the mahogany desk. Ky Luc looked extremely determined. And devious. A bit more than usual. Just before Urd had the chance to question him, the fifth was upon him, grabbing onto his biceps and ripping his sharp teeth into the tanned older progenitor’s neck.Surprise. That’s all the older progenitor felt as he stood on the spot, staring ahead incredulously. Did…Did Ky Luc JUST do what he feared the younger one would do?“Nᴏᴛ ʏᴏᴜ, ᴛᴏᴏ.” There was an evident note of exasperation in his sonorous tone. This was going to be a long, long night…

Shifting through his paperwork that he had yet to sign and mail off, Urd Geales managed to stumble across a couple of photos he had previously set down upon his mahogany desk. A sort of nostalgic feeling seeped into his core as he gently placed aside the paperwork he was sifting through.
Picking up one of the photographs, the old monarch couldn’t help but let a smile cross his tanned sharp features.
Ky Luc… An adventurous good hound of mine. He leads his designated lands well, keeping his livestock in order and under notably moderate care. Certainly a bright and optimistic individual with eccentric tendencies. I respect and trust his judgement, and have always enjoyed each little treat of a meeting I’ve had with him.
The 2nd progenitor’s normally scrutinizing blood red gaze becoming tender when he thought back upon his previous experiences with the fifth progenitor could tell volumes, if anyone had been there to see it. The Russian monarch was commonly so cold and composed in disposition when dealing with others, especially of his own kind that in this instance of a special rare occasion, there was definitely something there between the mighty king and his hound.
At any rate, the eldest vampire quickly picked up each photo he managed to find underneath the paperwork he had previously sifted through; and with haste, quickly tucked them away in the same drawer he usually stores one of his favorite reading books. He still had much work to do before he had time to reminisce about the past and its pleasantries.Still so much work left to do.
