Noah And The Whale - The First Days of Spring (2009)......Always wanted to hear this album on vinyl and it finally has arrived. Something about that title song gives me goosebumps and because of this one song I can’t seem to dislike them no matter how they flop with each album. Although the title suggests Spring, I feel it’s more suited for Autumn scenery. When I hear this song I don’t see the flower buds or green grass but that of more breezy Fall evening where the sunsets and sometimes a gentle falling down of rain in a quiet and cool afternoon. Very subtle and beautiful album to me. Very happy to own this on vinyl and can’t wait for the hot summer to fade and cool breeze finds its way towards Fall. #noahandthewhale #thefirstdaysofspring #indiemusic #fallmusic
