the first time we met

we met about a year before we actually started dating. I went to this party with my boyfriend at the time and keep in mind that I worked at a waterpark so I had some seriously gnarly tanlines. anyway we get to this party and there’s this one guy who’s already so drunk he can barely function. guess who that is... I ended up sitting next to him and he looks down at my leg with wide eyes, mouth open then he just started poking my leg in astonishment until finally he looked up at me and said, “you look like Neapolitan ice cream.”

I remember standing there thinking about all things that were meaningless, then you arrived. I remember staring at you while you laughed and smiled. I approached the group with sweaty palms and was just so nervous. You complimented my Panic At The Disco shirt and looked into my eyes. I was hooked. You were my new drug. You were a sudden angel that just appeared into my life. There was no turning back from then on. We were stuck together.
