Flash Theories #1.1
This is another thought I had based on the Dark matter + Nature of death = Meta human powers theory that I discussed in my first post.
As far as we know Harry doesn’t have meta powers, if he did he’d likely be making use of them to save Jesse, so what I’m curious about is if he has the potential for them, if he was exposed to the dark matter when the particle accelerator exploded. Apparently Jay was not only exposed to it but likely suffered something similar to Barry that resulted in him becoming a speedster. If Harry absorbed the dark matter but wasn’t killed then he may have potential powers that are lying dormant right now. As far as we know Harry hasn’t died yet, thus no powers, however he did come pretty darn close when Patty shot him. So let’s say getting shot (in the heart I believe) was enough to send that dark matter into a flummox, then Jay shows up and has to save Harry by injecting velocity 6 in his hand, phasing his hand into Harry’s chest, and plucking the bullet out. Later on Jay says the velocity 6 is out of his system which may just mean that it’s effects were temporary and wore off, however I can’t help but wonder if that line was a hint that maybe the velocity 6 isn’t in Jay’s system anymore because it was unintentionally transferred to Harry. The camera does pan out to the test tubes of serum across from Harry at the end of the scene.
Naturally there are a whole plethora of other possibilities as to what the significance of that plot point might be and Harry may not become a meta human at all but it’s a fun theory. Thoughts?
