The 100 *Crack Vid*- B*llamy’s Death Edition
ships clexa even harder now after a hiatus with a rekindled passion bc its even better now that clarke killed b*ll*my in cannon so there’s absolutely no bullshit to endure from the other sides of the toxic fandom 🥴 🥴 🥴
Sun and Moon Festival
It seemed overnight that Polis had changed. The roads were cleaned up, the centre filled with long tables and chairs and fireplaces. Carts were decorated with miniature sun and moons made from various materials. It seemed as if more children were loose in the streets, laughing and playing in their finest clothes.
This would be Raven’s first Sun and Moon festival, this time last year, when summer was turning to fall, she had been in Arkadia fixing the fence. Clarke had seen the last one, said it was a time of peace even when the clans weren’t united. A large feast would be followed by music, dancing, and games. A person wore their best clothes.
*me at the end of the flopdred s3*: fuck this, nah, I'm done, I'm so done with this shit *me after watching s4 trailer*: why you gotta do that to me!!??
Netflix Customer Service
Netflix Efren: Hi, I am Efren and I'm here to help you out, I would like to know how may I assist you?
You: To Whom It May Concern, I admire the thought and consideration that your company generates into selecting appropriate television shows for your customers. Netflix has become one of the leading competitor's of the world's streaming services. I personally enjoy the quality and large selection of television shows and movies that your company offers. I also admire that your company included lgbtq+ movies and television shows in your selection. As you, your audience and I have noticed, Netflix includes a variety of LGBT+ films and television shows, one which has actively rose to prominence: “The 100.” Starring Eliza Taylor, this show is one of the many selections that Netflix’s offers and happens to include a bisexual lead and (formerly) a same-sex relationship with Lexa (Alycia Debnam Carey).YouI admire that your company has shown great support to the lgbtq+ community and coloured people. Your company's vision and innovations are something that I greatly support. I admire your company's efforts to help with global issues, education and inclusion and diversity. It is with great displeasure that I inform you that I can no longer support your company as you support a television show, namely the 100. This show has a record of queerbaiting, adhering to incredibly painful storytelling tropes in the LGBT community, and removing agency from important LGBT characters. Sadly, neither the television show nor the network (the CW) has shown any remorse for their actions. Unfortunately, Commander Lexa (Alycia Debnam Carey) who played a role as a strong female leader and queer character was killed off the show even though she was willing to comply to both The CW's (The 100) and AMC's (Fear The Walking Dead) demands. Two months ago, there was a tragic incident where Lexa (Alycia Debnam Carey) was killed by a stray bullet. Lexa was the love interest of Clark ( Eliza Taylor) who is the lead of the show. Lexa was in a romantic relationship with Clarke, and soon they became the lgbtq+ representation that alot of the lgbtq+ community was proud of. Their relationship meant alot to the community and was a symbol of hope. Unfortunately, soon after the couple had consummate their relationship, Lexa was killed using a lgbtq+ "Bury Your Gays" trope that was very offensive to the community. Both events took play in Season 3 Episode 7. The show is also rated PG 14 but there are several scenes that are not suitable for these young adults to view such as severed heads and crucifixions. The show also displays a lot of graphic content without warning their audience. The show contains scenes of rape, such as the Murphy (Richard Harmon) who was raped by Ontari (Rhiannon Fish) in Season 3, Episode 10. In this same episode, there is content about self harm and torture. The shows also contains the slaughter of over a dozen children. Raven (Lindsey Morgan) is taken over by ALIE 1, who takes away her free will and forces her to slit her wrists. The show also poorly treats people of colour. Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) is shot two episodes after the death of Lexa which is Season 3 Episode 9. Some other people of colour who are poorly treated in the show are Hannah Green (Donna Yamamoto), Pike (Michael Beach),Wells Jaha (Eli Goree) and Monty Green (Christopher Larkin). The 100 also ill treated one of their cast members Ricky Wittle (Lincoln). ["At the beginning of the season, [Lincoln] had a whole storyline that was cut, that was just non-existent. It was my choice to go," he said. "This is going to be the most controversial thing I will say, is that basically [creator] Jason Rothenberg abused his position to make my job untenable. What he did was disgusting and he should be ashamed."] Ricky said in an interview with AfterBuzzTV. However, even in the mist of this tragedy, the lgtbq+ community was able to raise over $120,000 in Lexa's (Alycia Debnam Carey) for the Trevor Project. They were also able to raise $14k in funds for billboards across Los Angeles. The fans have also been able to trend "LGBT Viewers Deserve Better" internationally several times on twitter along with "307 REASONS TO FIGHT", "CW WE DEMAND RESPECT" and "I AM LEXA". LGBTVD has purchased four billboards in the Los Angeles area that supports better representation. The community was able to voice their opinion and was able to educate other company's such as Maybelline, Colgate, Dairy Queen, Target, Costar Group, Apartments Co and Clorox, who have recently agreed to stop advertising during the time slot given for the show. You: No problem, take as long as you need
Netflix Efren: I see, thank you Arianna, I just finished, what I can tell you as a gay man myself I cheer you on taking such a stand in favor of the LGBT+ community, thank you so much for providing this feedback to us. I will be sure to pass it along, let Netflix know about how you feel.
