I never realized Tyr had such a long nose!
He does! He has a long nose unlike Skaði's short stubby one. Although it depends on the angle. This one might not be his best. :p
What do you feed your hedgies on a daily basis? Tinkerball currently eats a blend of 3 cat foods and about 5 live mealies per day, but I want to start feeding her more insects/meat and less cat food. I've also thought about feeding her pinky mice, but since I keep mice as pets and I also raised a litter of 11 hamsters a year ago, I'm a bit apprehensive about that.
It varies from day to day. I've posted a weekly schedule here once but it's a bit outdated. I can make a new one if people are interested. I use a mix of 3 different kibbles (two dog food and one cat), although I do not feed it every day. I also feed (raw) meat, pinkies, different kind of insects, eggs, mushrooms, veggies and fruit and the occasional day old chick, but that's a rare treat.Since the pieces of dog food are too big for my hogs I have to crush them into smaller ones. You're always left with a bit of powder which they don't like to eat for some reason - I'm currently experimenting with making home-made blends out of it by mixing it with meat, vegetables/fruit and possibly (freeze dried) insects. Not sure about the insects yet since freeze-dried ones aren't that nutritious. I'm freezing it in ice cube trays so I have the perfect portions. I take one piece per hog out in the morning and put them in the fridge to thaw, and add some live insects when I feed it.
I've bred mice for a while as well but I've always bought my pinkies at the pet shop (frozen ones). You get used to feeding them.
I was shamed as a child for having asthma, a physical disorder, cause I wasnt able to do sports. I tried to hide it cause I was embarrassed, which lead to many hospital trips. Compared to how people with mental disorders are treated, I had it easy.
:(! Your experiences are no less valid and I'm sorry you had to deal with that 3

Haha, my grandparents show them. I've been around them for the majority of my life, they're very loud and rude, they chew on everything... but they're so so so sweet and just ahh <33
And yes, Samoyeds ^^
