Last night, I had the honour of giving No Malice a print of my photography, which features himself and his brother Pusha T -- collectively known as Clipse. I have been listening to their music on a weekly-basis since 1999, "Lord Willin'" is a hip-hop classic, and it felt awesome to give back to one of the greatest hip-hop artists of all time. More importantly, No Malice was in Toronto to speak on behalf of my friend Tara's organization -- F-You: The Forgiveness Project. Last night was the organization's seventh anniversary, and No Malice, a group of three formerly incarcerated men, and many others spoke candidly about the challenges that they have faced throughout their lives, the transformative power of forgiveness, and the incredible work that F-You has been doing in Toronto, amongst marginialized communities. I was, and still am amazed and inspired by the event, I can relate to many aspects of No Malice's life, I recommend that you watch "The End of Malice" on Netflix (to learn more about his inspiring journey), and I have nothing but respect and admiration for Tara Muldoon and everyone else involved with F-You. #theforgivenessproject #forgiveness #fyou #clipse #nomalice
