Dear future me,

I can't believe it. I can't believe how strong and courageous and amazing you are. You had so many discouragements, so many chances to give up. There were so many things wrong, and you were so unmotivated and scared and lost. But you kept going. I can't believe who you've grown to be, because you've turned out to be so much more than I could have ever imagined. You've learned from your mistakes, and even when things were hard you refused to give up. And you know what? That makes you pretty freaking great.

Dear person I’m jealous of,

To me, you are nameless. Faceless. Why is that, you might be asking yourself. Because there are so many of you. You are the people that get to see the people I love on a regular basis. You are the people living in Australia, New York, Missouri, California. You are the people living a town over. You are the people who get to call yourselves "real friends" of the people I have chosen to offer my heart to. You are the people they notice. You are the people who look at them and don't even realize that what you're seeing is extravagance. You are the people who take for granted the people I would give anything to touch, to look in the eye for real. You are the people who don't know what you have, because you've never not been allowed to have it. Realize, please, how privileged you are. And please, please, take good care of these people. Because I can't.

38. My childhood career choice. I believe I wanted to be a teacher up until 8th grade when I wanted to be a journalist. Then it all spiraled out of control and here I am today, a biology with teaching major who hates it.

Death: If you were able to reincarnate, what would your next life be?

This question catches me by surprise, as it's something that I've never thought about. But I suppose, could I be reincarnated, I would want to be someone completely different. Have an experience as opposite to mine as possible. I know that's incredibly vague, but I think it would be nice, to experience life from a new and entirely different perspective.
