Shutting the door quietly behind her, Kyleigh went straight to the kitchen where she knew her family would be. She gave a kiss to each of her children, then went over to her wife. "Hey. Sorry I'm late, traffic was crazy today." She smiled weakly.
Bridget had Nora in her booster seat by the table, face covered in soggy Cheerios and milk, while Dylan was in his high chair with Bridget spoon feeding him mashed bananas. She smiled when she heard footsteps walking towards the kitchen and she looked up with a bright smile that slowly faded when she saw the look on her wife’s face. Taking the spoon and handing Dylan his sippy cup, she told the kids to be careful, before walking over to Kyleigh and pulling her into her arms.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” she asked quickly, eyes flickering over her face. “I can tell something’s wrong.”
♡ (hehe)
Send me a "♡" if you want to ship our muses or would ship them.
“My precious Kyleigh... I love you.”
✢ for a good memory that makes them smile
Peek into my character’s past!
Twenty-Two Years Ago; Bridget Age 6; Naples, Italy
Daddy had promised her for a whole year now that he would take her out on his boat, and she was finally able to do it. It had been a long flight to Italy and little Bridget was so exhausted, but the promise of Daddy’s yacht had her waking up and bouncing in the backseat of the car that drove them there. “Bridget, sit yer bottom down b’fore ye hurt yerself,” her mother scolded, but did so with a smile on her face. Both her parents loved the girl dearly, and even though they gave her everything they wanted, she was never a spoiled child. They taught her what was right and what was wrong, and that was the most important thing.
When they finally pulled up to the dock, it was only her mother’s arm around her tiny body that made her stop from jumping out of the car. The boat towered in front of them, her lips parting in an O of awe, and she bounced again as she waited. “Mama, I wanna go!” she squealed, finally wiggling out of the car and tugging her mother’s hand. Maeve laughed and let herself get pulled behind her daughter, Quinlan lagging behind as he grabbed the bags for their stay. The best thing about having a yacht was free cruises, and they would be staying their whole weeks vacation there, stopping at different ports along the Italian countryside.
It was the best memory of Bridget’s life, the only vacation she ever went on with both parents. She slept for twelve hours by the time they got back to Ireland, but it was well worth it. The smile never left her face, and the pictures she always had hidden in a box in the back of her closet, pulled out to remember her beloved mother, were some of her most treasured possessions.

Awww I’m so sorry! That sucks!
|| It really does, thank you, love<3 She did say we’re having a shift bid soon, so I guess I’ll hafta be patient and wait for that, and definitely go for an earlier shift than I have now. ||

It had been such a simple gesture, really, but that was the point of it, wasn't it? They were all now in a primitive sort of world, and simplicity was what they could build their futures on. Ones were humanity could bond together and not be disconnected by statuses or social media standards. Everyone could start again, start clean and simple in the ways that could truly allow people to grow and learn as they were intended.
"Nah," He smiled, watching Kyleigh twirl the blossom between her fingers for a moment, "I'm just honest."
I heard it was someone's birthday! Happy Birthday to you!! Hope it's a great one <3
Thank you my darling!!

"Fine?" Bentley whispered back, look in his eyes clear that he didn't believe her. The wound needed to be cleaned and wrapped, in order for them to heal. At the very least, wrapped - as they didn't happen to have a huge amount of antiseptics laying about in their supplies. Still, he was worried for her health, and he wasn't about to leave her to deal with it, and possibly fall behind to the hands of the dead. Not a chance was he losing another in the group. Not if he could help it.
"We can barricade ourselves somewhere, Ky - then you've got to let me take a look at that cut, okay?" He tried to reason, "We'll get you somewhere safe, but then you've got to stop pushing yourself so hard."
