Hi Mok, how does Inquisitor Pup handle the events of Trespasser?
Ok so in full clarification, I’m one of the Xbox360 users Bioware determined wouldn’t get DLC after taking my money for the base game, flipped us off from their segways, and then did a sick back-flip into a dumpster full of bullshit and Nextgen-money.
Now, as to the events of it, i’ll go over what @bubonickitten has told me about the DLC and what I’ve been able to read on the Wiki [however long ago] because honestly sometimes canon is painfully, hair-raisingly bad.Now. Lead-up information since it’s kinda way out there time wise.
The two years later thing honestly was.. a surprise if only because keeping Pup there would have been edging on a prison sentence by that point. Especially once Coryface was dealt with and the rifts were closed. By then they have two adoptive children with Dorian– Veran and Revas– who have by that point have been living in Skyhold their whole childhoods. They’ve been possessed by a demon of Despair that had been following them since Kirkwall and had been forced into bonding with them via the Mark, eventually becoming Empathy thanks to working with Rivaini seers and Merrill. They, Dorian and Empathy manage to work out their lives with their children by the time Trespasser rolls around. Pup was, by that point, more convinced they’d have either moved back to Kirkwall or be back with clan Lavellan while Dorian took his trips to Tevinter– so they’d be able to bare the separation. That or going with him to cause trouble here and there. The pain in their arm has been getting worse and they’ve been knocking back pain killing potions while fighting off whatever political bullshit crops up as they defend their actions and the mages that flock to Skyhold for safe haven. The elves and family of magical people seeking asylum from the kick up of anti-mage violence following Divine Victoria’s proclamation that Mages were free/equal. The Corruption is by no means unknown to them, nor the overzealous approach Cullen seems to be taking with their troops– even though Pup maintains they’re an organization to help the people.Logistically, the only reason that Pup would still be sitting there is because they are there under protest and Josie is very persuasive.
As to the DLC itself however-- from again, what I know-- would be a rather simple affair to be honest. -Disband the giant corrupt primarily human mostly military organisation-Tell Solas to go fuck himself because not only did he leave them directly after the battle with Coryfits [abandonment of friends, not a thing], and the lying, oh and wanting to destroy the world. That’s it, he’s done. Pup’s response: “I’ve done one pretend god, I can take you as well!” -Empathy internally trying to not lash out while trying to help contain the discharges so they don’t backfire on both Pup and Dorian, so the twins aren’t Orphans.-Pup would be terrified of a similar level of tragedy coming from dead qunari there as dead qunari in Kirkwall.-Once it was done going to Kirkwall with a communication crystal and their children to live with their family friend Regina for added security in the estate Varric gifts them-- the old Hawke estate. -Occasionally travels north to see Dorian, brings the children when they’re old enough. Same with Clan Lavellan.
@bubonickitten anything to add that I didn’t think of?
