Fascinating story. I photographed a Muslim-American community through their scouting program. All-American values it seems, are universal no matter when you came to this country. For several months I spent time with the scouts and their families at the height of the Trump campaign, as they navigate a fractiured America.
The Fusioneers are a group of offbeat scientists, engineers, and hobbyists who build nuclear reactors in their sheds. These technologists gather every year to show off their inventions and trade bits of uranium and atomic glass. Had a lot of fun photographing these guys and being face-to-face with a nuclear reactor.
