I'm so sorry about your ratty, lady. You treated him so well and I know he enjoyed his time with you.
Thank you. I know I shouldn't be sad because he came from a home where he was living sick & alone in a too-small cage & not getting any attention...he spent his whole time with me in a giant rat mansion with two buddies to sleep & cuddle with. I am having a hard time dealing with it because this is the first rat I've cared about that's died (I had a chronically ill biter that I had only had for about five months that I had to get put to sleep last December, but I wasn't very attached to him). He's not one of my very favorites, but he's such a sweet, patient animal & I feel bad that he's suffering. I'll miss seeing his snotty little white nose poking out when I go to feed them.
