Welcome to Athens, [CHAOS]! It looks like they [DO NOT] remember their past life as a God. It is said that [THEY] have [ATTENTION TO DETAIL] but also [LACK INSIGHT]. Apparently they look like [LUKA SABBAT] and they’re [NON-BINARY]. [OOC: Ty, 22, he/him, GMT+3]
NAME: CHAOS Chason Toussaint
AGE: IMMORTAL 21
GENDER: Non-Binary
PRONOUNS: they/them
ORIENTATION: Asexual, biromantic
PROFESSION: Student, artist, intern at a fashion company
AESTHETICS: Reds and blacks, the vast void where one light shines in the distance, the bitter taste of the quince fruit, sharp teeth and sharper nails digging into skin, anger and despair \\ warm clothes, paint splattered on overalls, messy scraps of fabric, old VHS videos, scratches on the wall, tight fists and the absence of a smile in the moments where it’s needed.
Chason, as far as they remember, was born in a happy family, in Nice, France, although their memories feel jumbled at times. Their head has been all over the place their entire life, nothing stuck too hard or too well. They ended up in therapy a couple of times, with the help of some people they knew to call family. It’s how they found out they deal with depression, or at least that was what the psychiatrist said it has to be.
Yet “depression” didn’t seem to quite fit. It was a deeper kind of sadness, one that felt ascended beyond human means, beyond their human body.
They would stare into space a lot, especially when it was dark around them; it felt like they were searching for a kind of familiarity they haven’t been able to feel in a long time.
They didn’t belong here, but they didn’t know how or why they didn’t belong here.
Prescription pills never helped, but they wouldn’t even dare to attempt to chase a high they wouldn’t be able to handle. They know addiction, they feel like they’ve watched it in people their entire life, and how it took and it took and it took and it took. They wouldn’t want to go there. That wasn’t the abyss they looked for.
Otherwise their life was simple, they did well in school and got into a good college in New York, and eventually scored an internship at a local fashion company.

Without any other living relatives Caden was placed in the foster care system, he bounced around from home to home. He found it hard to find a home as most families didn’t have the patience to deal with him acting our, thinking he was trouble. Rather than helping him deal with his trauma and undiagnosed adhd.
As he became a teenager he was better at controlling himself and feel in love with sports channeling all his energy into any team sport he could get it since it kept him busy. When not playing some form of sport or working out he was always working and saving his money.
When he turned 13 his hopes of being adopted were at an all time low, he’d been told time and time again that no one wants to adopt a teenager. But when he turned 15 he was adopted by an older couple who had been unable to have children of their own. The husband was a retired firefighter and the wife an ex teacher. He taught Caden how to box as a means to channel his energy and they gave him the patience and love he needed.

AESTHETICS: Vines wrapped around a neck, flashing images, tv static, screams of agony, the image of dead bodies spreading across the land, the vile truth, needles piercing into the skin, goat skulls hanging from the tree, a bone crown.
Pythia did not expect to be reborn. No, in fact she did not even wish to live a whole new life when she did not want her previous one. Visions still haunted her like nightmares at night.
Yet in this new life, these visions were not as... terrifying. She didn’t dream of war, she didn’t dream of the death of thousands, instead she dreamed the right answers for her math texts, she dreamed if the boy that bought her a drink the next day was a good man or not, she dreamed... simpler things.
Her mother died when she was too young to know, unable to protect her. She always wondered why her father never told her stories, why he forbade fiction and religion with equal ferocity, why he chose to fill her mind with cold, dull realism. Why he never told her how her mother died, although he talked of her often.
She moved on, she couldn’t let ghosts distract her.
Of course, the visions weren’t always so gentle, although infrequent she still saw unimaginable horrors sometimes. She saw her dad get arrested, forced into a car by police when she was seventeen, screaming for them to let him go because he didn’t do anything wrong, and she realized her vision came too late, even after trying to make her father stay as far away from the kitchen all day, after making sure he wasn’t home, but somewhere safe at certain hours, the moment she let her guard down... it happened. Word for word, moment for moment, exactly like in her vision, her dad got taken away and her screams were heard by the whole town.
She finished high school with perfect undeserved grades, but she never went to college. It was hard for her to move forward. She had three locks on her door, a bat by her bed and a schedule of days she could see her father.
She ended up as a hostess for the most part, but her calling was towards her ancient job, which was how she became a fortune teller. Secret sessions held in dark rooms, a cloth tied over her eyes as she told people things, stories, but sometimes it was hard to tell the full truth.
There’s a bright side to every wrong thing

Name: Medusa || Maddie
Age: ~26 || Ancient
Profession: Model
Biography:
In her original life, Medusa was a mortal woman, though she was the daughter of gods and sister of monsters. A beautiful young woman, she attracted the attention of Poseidon. She loved him, and believed he loved her in return. But when they lay in the temple of Athena, the goddess took offence. Medusa was punished, cursed to become a monster. Her hair turned to snakes, her gaze able to turn those who looked directly at her to stone. Poseidon left with only a “I can’t--”.
Medusa would be slayed by the hero Perseus, sent on a quest to kill the mortal Gorgon and aided by multiple gods who blessed him with gifts.
As part of the curse from the Fates, Medusa found herself reborn with her memories. A second chance. Unlike many of the others who remember, she has no quarrel with the Fates about the curse. She does not care for the gods--they did not care for her after all, and some had aided in her death--and so how the curse affects them does not worry her. Instead, she views this as an opportunity. She can be mortal again, beautiful again, she could have a life she had never had. So she hides her knowledge, pretending not to have the memories of the past, ignoring the attempts to break the curse. Let them forget, let them lose their powers. Her anger and spite would fuel her to seize a new life, and enjoy watching them lose theirs.
Welcome to Athens, [HECATE]! It looks like they [DO] remember their past life as a God. It is said that [SHE] has [CREATIVITY] but also [BLUNTNESS]. Apparently they look like [AMBER MIDTHUNDER] and they’re [FEMALE].
Hecate: Goddess of magic, crossroads, ghosts, boundaries, the night and the moon.
Hecate is one of the gods that remembers who she is, the power she wielded, and that the others have forgotten their true natures. She hides as a mortal woman, giving vague answers about her age, her childhood and the like. Hecate is drawn to the creative and to the magical, and runs a small art studio, eking out a living with paintings and handmade tarot cards. She’s not sure if she can still imbue any of her magic into it while the curse is in place, but it calls to her anyway. It feels right, standing at metaphorical crossroads for mortals now, letting them guide themselves.
Hecate is blunt but not uncaring. She’s always existed a little on the fringes of Olympus, spending far more time in Hades than above, and not caring much for the games of gods.
She also has two pets, a black dog--Hecuba--she adopted from as a stray, and a polecat--Gale--who spends much of her time in the shop and seems resent Hecate as much as like her.
