The shift from humoured confusion to sheer perplexity was instantaneous. Glass smashing as though on cue could have easily been chalked up to a hoax, some elaborate scare prank she didn’t wish to partake in nor particularly appreciated - but there was also some displaced little voice in the back of her mind, one that screamed to listen. Sure enough, it had happened exactly as the woman said. Instinct forcing her to jump back slightly despite being clear as the truck slammed into the front of the building where she’d been just moments prior.
A look of both shock and awe entwined took up residency on her face, unsure what to do with herself, any formulation of words proving near impossible. “I don’t…Did you even…” Every sentence she attempted fell short, as though her mind was far too preoccupied with beginning to process what had just transpired to allow for anything more. The brunette shook her head faintly, arms wrapping around herself to prevent the tremble in them as she exhaled a shaky breath with the mere prospect of what could have been. “How–how the fuck did you know that was coming?”

pythia took a couple of moments to breathe after the crash, just like in her dream, but this time without a worse casualty, she moved back with the other woman and put her hands together, then let them fall, then put them together again, then let them fall again. she felt so relieved.
“i... uh...” she didn’t know how to respond outright, a little bit shaken herself, even though this wasn’t quite the first time something like this happened, it was just that she never got confronted about it. “i have dreams about... things like this. most of the times it’s really small things, but last night it was... a lot. i’m so glad you trusted me enough to listen.”
