i love the gods themselves that book roscks ass like isaac asimov was like im gonna write a whole ass book about this other dimension and u go “k isaac what are some defining features??” and he goes “well there are 3 genders and they aren’t solid beings and they eat through photo synthesis...” and we all clap and cheer like woohoo i wish i were one and he goes “..just wait until u hear about how they have sex in threesomes and it lasts for weeks....” and we go thats cool.....and he goes “let me describe it more......” and then its just vividly describing alien sex for 3 chapters or some shit
