Dr. Reid
Today's Foxy Fed is Dr. Spencer Reid, the boy genius of Criminal Minds. With an eidetic memory and the ability to speed read, this character could have easily become just a human google and/or autism stereotype but Matthew Gray Gubler gave his awkwardness charm and depth. He brought a few of his own personal quirks to the character, like a love of Halloween and close up magic. He also gave the character the quiet confidence that comes from having been *through some shit.* A quality that only increases as the show puts this character through the ringer. Of course, I had to have him surrounded by books. And I gave him a tattoo in tribute to his lost love because, deep down, Reid is a romantic and a bit of a sad boy. I'm doing something like a sexy fireman calendar, but it's sexy drawings of TV FBI Agents. The reason I’m interested in this is that even though these FBI shows aren't sexy, their fanbase is thirsty as hell. And since most of those fans are femme, sexy illustrations of these characters can be a really interesting window into what femmes find sexy.
