“But... I want to dance in it! It’s so pretty!” She pressed her hands and face against the window and stared out at the glowing rain.

Normally Cleo didn’t go shopping without her ghouls but today was an exception as most of her friends were busy with other things today. Tragic really. Her nose scrunched in disapproval at one of the garments she was looking at currently. “Ugh, there just doesn’t seem to be anything good here.” She grumbles heading to the other side of the store while her jackal-headed guards follow along behind carrying what purchases she’d already gotten.
Her blue eyes eventually catch sight of a really cute pair of shoes, however they are a bit of a ways up and her guards have their hands too full in order to grab it for her. With a hum she eventually gets and idea. “Hello over there!” She calls out waving down the nearest passer-by she spotted. “Mind helping a ghoul out?” She asks putting on one of her sweetest smiles.

Cassandra smiled into the kiss, a hand reaching up to stroke the other’s hair, before breaking away from her, though keeping her face mere inches from Millicent’s.
“I was thinking. Since the other lovebirds are outta town, I can’t steal ya away for some getaway. But we can still go out for dinner?”

“It’s beautiful,” she gasped, lowering her parasol as she approached the garden. It was uncommonly sunny that day, but still winter all the same. Frost dusted the garden and beneath were flowers of the purest white.
“May I?” she asked. She brought a white rose to her face and breathed in its intoxicating scent.

"It’s been time!” Her words came out unintentionally, her head bowed slightly. She knew exactly how long it had been since that day. Three years, two months, and fifteen days. So much pain and regret. All I get is a lifetime supply of you! She remembered those words and she’d been so wrong. Now she’d do anything for his return.
She’d gotten at least two of the three princess after making them summer, she was corrupting Ephidea, and yet nothing seemed like anything. She still got the same high from the fear and power, still prone to her anger, but age had made her more controlled. Her shoulders slumped and she raised a clawed glove to the side of her head, rubbing her temples to ease the pain there.
“Sorry, you didn’t have to deal with that. Forget I said anything.” Her hand fell back to her side.

The thunder didn’t startle Beast so much as the sight of Snow stumbling to the floor, and on instinct he moved a step or two towards the steps, as if ready to run down and help her up again. But as suddenly as she had fallen, Snow was laughing, untangling herself from the puddle of red and white fabric she had draped herself in. And Beast breathed a sigh of relief as he watched her, berating himself for very nearly revealing himself.
Or perhaps not just ‘nearly.’ Her eyes rose, meeting with his own, and he felt his heart leap into his throat. In the blink of an eye, Beast stumbled backward, as if he were as scared of Snow as she was of him. In a way, he was. But now it was his turn to trip over himself, and he fell back onto the floor with a loud thud and a growl of annoyance and pain. Mostly annoyance.
Her hands flew up, her own instincts to help him kicking in. She stepped forward, then stopped abruptly, her mind shouting Too close, too close! Not that she was close - she remained by the door, he still in the shadows. And without the lightning illuminating them, he was mostly hidden from her once again.
“Are-are you all right?” she asked, her voice small in the large hall.
Suddenly, unexpectedly, Snow found herself giggling. Maybe it was something in the tone of his growl - less hurt, and more...frustrated? Embarrassed? She swiftly covered her mouth, stifling her giggles.
