The Grates’ most recent album, 2014’s Dream Team, brings everything full circle by stripping right back to the garage sound they started with. It’s hard to argue that it’s their best overall work, but some of their best work is definitely in this album, and short though it may be at 30 minutes, it wastes none of that time, and it just feels wholly Australian.
