I’m really sorry for the slow posting on that story. When I first started writing chapter 13 back in January, I unfortunately lost my dog then and ever since that time, writing both Protection and Coach Cavill has been going very slowly.
However
I do have a second draft of this chapter finished and because you are waiting so patiently (thank you so much for that 🥰), I have a little preview for you:
‘Amelia, why are you calling me?’ Dean asks, the second he answers the phone.
Oh, what a charmer. At any other time I would’ve said something smart or even hurtful to him. Now… I just burst into tears, as Yara holds my hand as she sits next to me. ‘Dean, I’m so scared.’
‘What’s wrong? Are you okay? Are the kids okay?’
‘Isabella is in the hospital.’
‘What?’ I can hear him standing up, walking around and I forgot he is probably at school, in between classes. ‘Why? What happened?’
