Day 29: One Day Left
Afternoon (Morning, Evening; wherever you are),
Today marks Day 29 of the 30 day challenge I set for myself at the end of last month. Though I feel as if my novel will have less than 30 chapters, I don't mind one bit; it doesn't have to, to be considered a novel, does it? Nope.
I'm crawling my way deeper into the novel and starting the ascension into the end of the novel which is a lot harder than starting it. To be honest, as much as I am excited to end it and start working toward getting it edited, published and more, I am also sad to end it. For the past 30 days, all I could think of was this novel and how to improve it and to keep people wanting to read it through its end. It has been my world this whole time and to just say goodbye to the fun I had writing it kinda makes me upset. :(
Just now, I've finished writing another chapter so I'm going to be taking a little break to refuel my "creative gland" because I won't stop until I'm satisfied. With tomorrow being the last day, I know I want to write those ending chapters then. It feels appropriate to write them that day and yes, it's also an excuse to drag it out a bit more to the very end.
