Preparations are in progress, finding time to mock up a display for #thehandsale this week (see previous post for details). I like to display my work so that the viewer can imagine the possibilities of how it could be used or displayed, mixed together. Colours, textures, the background textiles are just as important as what goes on top of them. This year I’ve been playing with #ecodyeing , as a result my textiles will be natural, organic colours. I think my pottery looks good on it, the pinks pop, the whites show up and the speckled blend in. I hope you will come see me if you can!
