psychochromatic and I have been intently brainstorming for a hypothetical third Magic Mike move and we have come to the following conclusions:
it would be titled either Magic Mike: Ménage à Trois, Magic Mike: XXX, or xXxMagix MikexXx
to fully round out the trilogy it needs to complete a three part structure in which the first movie was decay/gritty realism AU, the second was hyper happy stripper con AU, and the third, logically, will be a bed and breakfast/strip club domestic AU
potentially a rival strip club/cafe down the street so that we have Step Up style striptease dance battles in the streets of some poor unsuspecting suburban town
Matt Bomer’s character Ken’s ambition is to become an actor; in order for this to come full circle, he must succeed in becoming an actor, and his cameo must then be an actual clip from a Matt Bomer film with a voiceover stating that Ken’s new stage name is, in fact, Matt Bomer
