Satoru gives the curse a curious once over. There’s something in different about this one. “You have a name?”

This probably wasn't all that ideal but if the sorcerer was willing to chat, who was he to deny the opportunity?

"Mahito." A hand lifted in greeting, casual - too human-like. The slight slant of his head, the way a smile came over his face... it wasn't very curse-adjacent behavior.

And just to add to it, "Who are you?" came next. Playing dumb suited Mahito well quite often, ever the manipulator. But none could really deny the curiosity in his gaze being something sincere, at least. Excited, interested, even if this could be problematic.
