@pleasantart @damedarcy #happytears and so much emotion. For the Pleasant Family and their late father William who represents the entire South East region in the #Smithsonian with his #painting #theHuckster. The description of this night sounds like a crazy dream. Everyone was there! Colin Powell, Samuel L. Jackson, Fish Bone, Venus Williams, the Soul Train Dancers and so much great fashion! I tried to take pics of everyone but more will have to be posted later from the other devices. The elevator is a time machine and it goes from the bottom floor in the early 1800s where Sojourner Truth is, where the heavy energy is exuding from an actual slave block and the whip donated by Opra. To the 50s and 60s where you can see Rosa Parks actual seat and artifacts from MLK. The mash up of Americana is fantastic. Michael Jacksons rainbow costume he wore when he was a kid, a huge red Cadillac, the first Ghetto Blaster, and Diana Ross gowns are all in the same room with live violin music and Funk blending from another floor. The banjo is the first American instrument. Played first by black sailors. (at Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture)
