I know you love Snow to death but I was a bit miffed at her in the latest episode of TWAU. It felt like some of her decisions were from being tested by Bluebeard. I mean, fuck that guy. But at the same time, the little things shouldn't take priority of what we are trying to stop. I feel like she gets too much shit when she was thrown into a fucked up job (thanks crane, ya dick), yet the crooked man > the farm stuff. Also, the last episode, she tried to burn that damn tree. Not cool.

i have to disagree. i think while she is stressed with bluebeard breathing down her neck, he doesn't really pose much of a threat to her since he's all about money & not leading. the farm issue wasn't related to the whole investigation but it's still a law that bigby wasn't really enforcing strongly enough & with snow being the acting deputy mayor, i feel like her telling him get his shit in gear is really... yeah get your shit in gear.

she's watched crane slip up constantly & picked up his slack for years so she has to pick up the pieces & crack that whip. bigby has done his share of slacking as well (hence colin & constantly letting toad get off the hook) so it's about time someone's lit a fire under his ass.

i also see her point of view regarding greenleaf's tree. if she was supplying the crooked man with ingredients for black market glamours why not cut off one of his sources? greenleaf didn't show any remorse for what transpired because of her glamours so snow getting pissed didn't really surprise me. knowing that she's probably being forced to work for him, imo, was the right decision for someone in snow's position to make either way.

what snow decides to do may be ill received but she's working with a corrupt system & has to start from the ground up. everything's been convenient bc of the crooked man's doing but it wasn't lawful & it wasn't right. so not only does she have to help stop what he's doing but also enforce the laws that have been supposed to be followed in the first place.

i just checked the link and there are no more tickets. I am now filled with regret, and a hint of sadness. (sits in shower for two weeks cause now he cant hang with aspio. contemplates life)
