Light is a foreign concept around these parts.
It would only take one look up at the pitch black, unmoving sky and the eerie red glow that hung over even that to understand. The sun had been blotted out one day, some reports even saying Hank had blotted it out himself the day improbability sunk Nevada
Deimos had even witnessed the day the sun went black, having been visiting the Bakery that the event had taken place at on that day, but that was his little secret.
So when he saw this stranger, as bright as the flames he could produce on a whim by treating his hand as a lighter, he was a bit suspicious as to who they were and why they were glowing...
Stuck out like a sore thumb. Surprised that no one’s tried to blot out her glow too, given how noticeable it was.
Still, it’s not like he can complain. He’s been revived from the dead and has a rock for a jaw. And a chest. And arms.
With how much this person drew attention to themselves just by being there, Deimos has to wonder why he’s never seen such a person before...
