The inspector was sitting in her kitchen, Ms Hudson was at a friends and the boys had left on a case and never asked her along and she had no case herself. Sherman down the stairs to the door all the while muttering "I swear if this is someone for Sherlock I'll scream." She opened the door."yes?"

The Doctor waggled his fingers at the woman. “Hullo! I’m John Smith, Magpie Electric Company," he said quickly, flashing a piece of blank paper. “Routine check. May I come in?"
