“Of course you will,” she told her. There was no doubt that girl would meet her cousin soon. The fact was that there was something special about being able to share her son with the world. She couldn’t help but tinge pink at the mention of her first bedding. Some things were rather private. “There are plenty of gossips. It didn’t require much effort for Robb. I imagine others won’t require much either.” Roslin grew quiet after admitting as much. She needed to get her head around the fact that her family could not be part of her own anymore. She would never get used to the thought that so many of the people she’d loved had turned into monsters. She had a difficult task, but she’d do what was necessary to protect her son. “My father allowed himself to be tainted by bad advisors in old age. Some of my half-brothers should not have been allowed to get into his head. I’m afraid the damage that he did is unforgivable. I believe that parents can be misguided in their attempts to protect their children but he was acting for me. No matter how he excused it. I was fine.”
“I am glad to hear that, perhaps I can see him today or tomorrow?” Sansa did not want to lose any more family members than she already had, she had lost too many during her lifetime. There was a sense of excitement rising within her, at meeting Robb. Perhaps, meeting a new member of the family may bring some happiness back in her life, and assuage the pain she felt.
“I apologise, my lady. I do not wish to make you uncomfortable. I would love to see your future sons or daughters as well sometime.”
She had no knowledge on what the birthing process must have been like, having no experience in that area as of yet. It was truly a miracle, almost, that Roslin and Edmure had succeeded on their first night together.
“I see, indubitably, he would seek advice, and it is unfortunate the advisors he keeps close, whisper ill-advised ideas to him.” Is that what happens in old age? Becoming blind to the actions and decisions of those whom he surrounds himself with. “Who were these half-brothers?” “Unforgivable, it was. And I do not attribute your Father’s actions to your own, as I’ve already said. I had heard that Tywin was also one of the perpertrators who had helped plant the Red Wedding in Walder’s head.
