Dota 2 The International!
In the world of gaming there is a big event that is taking place within this week and that is The International 2016. It is a yearly event made for the game Dota 2. The event were participated by players from all over the world fighting for the title to be the International Champion and win the Aegis Shield trophy. Every year they will held the event in Seattle Stadium and it is quite a large event with the prize pool winning up to 2 million USD! I always followed this event and root for my home team Fnatic. But to put that aside I wanted to look onto the Visual Effects or the Augmented Relity effects they use during the event. On the stage when the player has picked their hero an avatar pops out from nowhere and appeared to look as 3D image! At first I thought they use a laser projection or any types of projection to create that immersive display but then after I had look through the behind the stage of the event and see that they used visual effects made by their technicians to look as if it were real and have its depths. Regardless of that it is still cool as it were rendered in live since you cannot predict what hero the player will choose.
