Big RIP my workplace has finally banned Ao3 from their internet and I work a little underground so cell service sucks. Literally forcing me to not read/write but instead watch YT videos or be on tumblr when I don't have much to do.
Like, both of those are more disruptive in the workplace (and also both still have banned things on them) but okay, fuck me I guess.
#Their internet#their rules#but they are literally making it so when employees have less work to do#we now have fewer options for ways to pass time without disturbing coworkers who DO have work to do right now#all of our jobs are cyclical and have low periods#idk just wild that a website that I think doesn't cause as much harm as Facebook and isn't used as much on this campus#gets axed but FB is fine#I'm just whining mostly#Cant force productivity when we have nothing to do y'all#and I use Ao3 for breaks and lunch so rip
