one retrained trait: the ability to bargain. it was one of the few things that made this immortal husk still seem like the original who had once inhabited it. elijah still knew how to negotiate, would not be stopped by something as small as losing his humanity. he could still work things in his favor, sniff out the best deals to keep himself on top of the food chain.
