☼ - - For someone who finds pleasure in exploring her surroundings, Kaori hated being lost. Not being able to calibrate herself is something that caused something heavy to linger in her heart until she sees something familiar. And in that moment, she felt that exact same heaviness as she looked around her. It wasn’t particularly a foreign country but it was definitely a new setting, accidentally wandering into the darkest parts of Seoul. Just get out, it’s unfamiliar and you might die. Even if her brain was overdramatic, it was necessary –- if not, she would have stayed out of curiosity. Other than the lights illuminating her way out, everything else was consumed by darkness and she knew that now would be the best time to leave. But before she could even turn and walk, she was stopped by the collision of her body with someone else, knocking her off her feet. “Fuck,” she didn’t know why but regardless of the years she’s spent calling Seoul her home, she always reverted back to her Japanese roots under certain pressures. “I’m so sorry, I’m - I’m just trying to walk back,” the sentence made her seem weak because that’s what she was. The stress was already causing a dizzying effect on her as she got up, dusting off her ass.
