The REDLIVETRUE EP: A young man’s anthology on how to save the world

In today’s hip-hop world, there seems to be a growing respect and acceptance for the type of music that speaks directly to the soul, directly to the listener’s life, their issues, their grievances, and overall just about anything that the listener will find an absolute truth in and relate to. We’ve seen it in the past with artists such as Nas, Common, Lauryn Hill, KRS-One, and Public Enemy; and we’ve seen it recently with the emergence of artists like Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Lupe Fiasco and Logic.

RedLiveTrue, a 20yr old emcee from Chicago, Illinois is placing himself among such illustrious company with his forthcoming debut project, The REDLIVETRUE EP, which is dropping on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.

RedLiveTrue is the newest member to The Jet Setters collective, which consists of artists Sir Charles and BenJamin, and producers Johnny Storm, Ree aka 7°, and DJ TouchTone. He has been working on his EP since May 2014 and is finally ready to bring it forth to the masses. The project touches a wide range of issues all relevant in today’s society and especially those that directly affect the youth in his crime ridden hometown of Chicago.
