It was really cold and rainy at the beginning of the summer here in Norcal. We got rain for about a week at one point and really cold temperatures. It eventually gave way to normal 90 degree weather. This prompted some impromptu ways to keep cool and occupied close to home.
Tina and I took a bunch of day trips this summer. Trying to cram all the highlights on here:
Took a 5 minute trip to the Suisun waterfront and got our munch on at The Joy of Eating Cafe. I had the BLT w/ egg. Yum!
Tina's teriyaki porkchop thing!
Tina copying me taking photos of the food.
Afterwards we walked off the meal around the marina and decided later that it was time for cake. Not just any cake, but cheesecake.
We found ourselves in the middle of farm/wine country on the outskirts of Fairfield here at Little Knopp's Bakery. We had heard the stories of the delicious pastries, fruits, and coffee they had here. But most important, we heard about the cheesecake.
Tina being nosy in the store haha
Found it! Now to pay for it and take it home!
Tina washing the dishes. The fan was on and blowing her dress kind of crazy. I LOL'd
