A time you were lost.

I was a new bride, relocated in Mississippi. My (ex)husband drank more than usual (which was impressive). Raped me. Beat me. More than before.

I was states away from anyone I knew.

I lost my ambition. I lost my love of life. I lost my identity.

But don’t worry. I got it back. And that’s mostly from some of you who helped me not loose hope... in particular, Dan. I will always cherish his friendship.
