The Dragon Journal; in conclusion. The book became not only a record of an incredible journey with all the learning that followed, it also became an idea outlet for marketing my creations. Each creature/egg I make has a unique scroll and I recently was a vendor at a com con and a new table display had to be planned. It turns out that I am terrible at consistently writing in a journal and only about a quarter of it was filled by the time our trip was over and I had finished my last HTTYD inspired work. It was my little Denim Nadder which I made from my recently destroyed favourite pair of jeans. The Dragon Journal; a personal project five years in the making. The leather notebook was an anniversary gift from my husband that I embellished with a dragon eye. I did not make my first entry until February 1st 2014. It was decided that we were going try to get tickets to San Diego Comicon that summer and that I was going to take my Toothless dressed in a full leather replica of Hiccup’s flight suit from HTTYD 2.
