He knew he couldn't evade him forever, but it didn't mean Nate didn't want to try. It had been years since he had spoken to Jacob aside from the fleeting hi-hellos that they exchanged whenever their families would meet. Nate had grown exhausted from all of it and he just wanted to put things behind them. It had been too long, after all, and there was no reason they couldn't try to move past their history if they had wanted to. Taking a deep breath, he drew his hands to a ball and knocked on the man's bedroom door, waiting for him to open it. "It's uh, Nate. Your mom let me in. I hope that's alright?"
