For each “⭐️” I get, I’ll write a headcanon about our muses.

Oh. Oh god. Let’s see...

#1) This isn’t a headcanon insomuch as just me spitballin’ for hilarity, but I still want Loki to knock Salome up again after all their kids are grown up. So they think they have more time together as a couple but it’s like surprise you all have a baby sibling quite fucking literally. Also more time with Loki being a dad because always and yes.

#2) While Salome is housing Loki’s power, I imagine he makes her study about the craft and train at least 2-3 hours a day. Afterwards she probably naps, but he probably has his work cut out for him because Salome probably tries to get out of it fairly... all the time.

#3) Salome likes to braid Loki’s hair, particularly when in bed. 

#4) She also tends to draw him a lot, when he’s studying or doing work. There’s tons of still lives of him in her notebooks and sometimes she just lays around on him and draws, too.

#5) Salome doesn’t feel confident enough to teach the children any sort of magic, as she doesn’t feel like she’s overly skilled at it, despite everything. 

#6) She makes coffee for Loki and herself in the mornings, and serves it black. Loki likes his sweetened slightly, because beverages back home tend to be sweet, but Salome’s drinks hers as is. Sometimes, after a stressful day, she brews decaf coffee and makes karsk for them.

#7) Salome loves all of her children equally, but has the fondest memories of Astrid. Salome still remembers the quiet mornings feeding her as a baby, before the other children were around. The house was smaller and more intimate, and her favorite place to sit was her artist’s loft upstairs in the sun and just... spent hours with her daughter there? She kept her in a low bassinet while she painted and rocked it with her foot, and sang to her all day. Once the other children were born, the serenity of early motherhood with a single child was lost? But she has a pretty strong bond with Astrid because of that, I think.

#8) Masada’s favorite food is Fruit Loops. The generic kind. Not related to Loki and Salome but you’re getting it anyway because like MASADA WHY.

#9) Salome misses when Loki was King of Jotunheim, but not for the reason you think. She misses the scenery. Every winter she tries to make Loki come out and do stupidly cute bonding activities like building small ice castles or going to sit on bluffs to see the ice forming off lakes. 

#10) I imagine Loki is terrible about housekeeping because he was a Prince and was used to having servants take care of things like that. So Salome always has to lowkey pick up his clothing or books he leaves around, which is kind of cute tbqh.

What sorts of plots/characters/scenes do you have the most difficulty writing, and why?

Comedy sort of things. I can do sarcastic oneliners and other sort of deadpan, and I am able to do very comedic things (ask @metallsinne, I am amazingly fucking funny), but I don’t like to write comedic plots with my muses. It’s not fun to me, not unless it’s part of a grander schema.

I can make exceptions to this. @illusivexemissary is naturally a very jovial character, for example, and any thread with Gabriel is likely to have a chance of a derailment for joking. It’s how the archangel copes, in the same sense that Salome zings with her wit and sardonic attitude at times. But doing crack just wears me out because in order to engage me with writing, I really love to get my adrenaline really going. If I have a thread that gets my heart pumping, I will focus all my energy on it for as long as the other partner is writing back? Like hours and hours that can go on, hahaha.

Undoubtedly it is her stalwart defiance in the face of gods and men alike. Though irksome at first meeting, that ferocity that has grown to be one of your more alluring qualities.

What does your muse think is my muse’s most attractive feature?

“I wouldn’t say it’s committed defiance, per se? I’m certainly capable of being a royal tart when I want t’be, but one of t’best things I’ve learned with age, is deference towards those with more power than me.”

29. Outside of canon material and other blogs, what inspires you?

Oofta. Just reading in general, music, and aesthetic images. I love to use published authors and their styles as inspiration, definitely. The way people build stories with different kinds of language and image helps push me to try out new and different angles myself. Music has always been an inspiration in whatever I do - basically every song I own/listen to I attach to a memory or person or character. So this means I have endless playlists for my rp characters and their ships. ENDLESS. The aesthetic images give me frames of mind to work with, what a character’s hobbies are and how they go about them, what makes them happy, what THEY like to look at and how that links to their personality.
