dm keeps dropping worldbuilding lore documents that snipershot me directly. pantheon made entirely of heroes ascended to godhood and grappling w their immortality? vibes! god of the sea and goddess of the tempest are feuding actually? spicy! goddess of offensive warfare and god of defensive warfare are not the same and the emperor closes one temple’s door and opens the other when the nation begins to go on the warpath? hell yeah! signed languages and trade languages abound? ideal! sailor specific creole/pidgin becomes the official language of the navy? incredible showstopping effervescent!
AAAAAAAA WE LIVED BITCH
i love playing a cleric with zero bedside manner. in the span of ten minutes hathym jumped off a cliff, watched this sailor get oneshot via a cyclops smacking him in the head with a broken-off mast from his own ship, got him back up to full with one cure wounds, couldn’t find him a shock blanket so tossed him a waterskin full of cold leftover soup to sip on (“this isn’t water. it’s kind of spicy. take little sips”), left him behind so they could go cast max-damage shatter on a rock over a cave entrance because the party wanted to go murder the cyclops, then had a loud conversation with our party ranger about whether they should crack open the cyclops skull for brains to use in her leather tanning

hathym: augur of the second wave. cleric of tsinha, our lady of the lightning lance. soldier, sailor, setting sun.
i’m playing my dwarven tempest cleric for the first time and wanted to share my boy’s playlist <3 (under the cut!)
shoutout to tonight’s rolls being a nat 20, two nat ones, and a nineteen right off the bat
truly carrying the wandering isles/hollow lands energy into this new game (oops became a divine caster. within 30 seconds of my character introduction someone asked, “dilf???”)
building my character for this new campaign and talking to new friends who are legitimately powerbuilders. it is so funny to see the look on their face when i say “i think you win dnd by crying in session”
