Are you happy with your parents and the way they raised you, or do you wish that they had done some things or taught you things differently? (I could be wrongly assuming you have traditional parentage/childhood here, so answer this in whatever way works lol)
I feel like I had a very weird upbringing. But I kind of have a "if i was raised any differently I wouldn't be the person I am today doing the things I currently do" mentality so I have to say the ends justified the means? haha
I'm actually kind of appreciate the hardships I went through growing up, because they taught me to be very self sufficient. I grew up in a single parent household and never really was able to go to my mom for emotional support/money/advice so I sorta became normalized to just be my own person and develop my own sense of self. My mom also never let me do anything... and while it sucked, I had no choice but to stay out of trouble haha (but of course, i come to this conclusion after i'm already in college far away from home.)
So in short, I feel like if I was asked this question while in high school, i'd have a whole list of changed and adjustments. But now that I'm in college, I'm just happy that I was able to arrive to the point I am today.
hmm... my first "TMI Tuesday" question was reeeeally interesting! :)
